Lady Elizabeth Early , four months from her 100th birthday, contemplates the wanderings of the Voyager spacecraft as they approach heliopause, the outer boundary of the Solar System. A teenage junkie, Star, watches the lights of London from the roof of a towerblock and traces the wanderings of her lost lover Liam across the city.
Scattering is a meditation on homelessness and the importance of a clear view of the stars. The play is a development of A Cup of Water & Evening Star.
