Coming West is the story of Scobie, a Liverpool trucker on the run in France from an incident at a ferryport gate in which he has killed a striking French farmer.
On a lonely beach in Britanny, he meets Milo, a raggedy man who claims to have been storyteller to Genghis Khan. Through the night, the pair argue, fight, and tell stories about being real men.
The show toured sporadically for about two years, and remains a favourite, although no-one's done it since. But then I've never shown it to anyone, so I shouldn't be that surprised.
