Lionheart

Lionheart is a one-man show, telling the story of Arthur. Arthur's a loser . He lives with his mum, except that she doesn't like him. He did have a girlfriend, until she ran off with his dad. He's a lifelong supporter of Southampton F.C.

Tonight should be the best of Arthur's life. England are playing Germany in St.Etienne, and he's got a ticket. The problem is, that when he wakes from a drunken stupor, he's on a railway platform in Cologne.

Lionheart originally toured the Southern Arts region in Spring 1999. It was seen in London, and invited to Pleasance at the Edinburgh Festival.

"A brilliant comic monologue...tragi-comedy doesn't come much better than this.." Daily Echo

"expertly crafted...cleverly-layered.....an experience that is both satisfylingly entertaining and meaty " The Stage
